Dr. Koolwal is a board‑certified nephrologist and internal medicine physician with over 44 years of medical experience. She has dedicated her career to caring for patients with kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and complex chronic conditions.

A graduate of medical school in 1982, Dr. Koolwal has spent decades providing renal care to families throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Patients value her for her thorough evaluations, clear communication, and commitment to long‑term kidney health.
